How many hours do Flight Instructors fly each month?
On average, full-time CFIs fly about 80 to 100 hours per month. Though our top performing instructors can easily get 120 hours in a month. I addition you flight instructors also do an additional 100 hours of classroom and flight simulator instructions.
Can Flight Instructors get their CFII or MEI while working at Encore?
Yes. We want to utilize you in all phases of our training programs. Having your CFII is very important, in fact we are happy to help you get your CFII if you do not already have the add-on. If you would like to get your MEI, employees are eligible for discounts on training based on time with the company. You can schedule your training flights on your days off or after your scheduled flights are complete.
Are Flight Instructors responsible for scheduling students?
No. There is a scheduling department that handles that for you. You can put your complete focus on your students and their training.
