Weather
Safety decisions are ours to make and we make them conservatively. If the weather isn't right for a first flight, we call you before you leave home and you choose: another slot at no charge, or the full-motion simulator the same day. Weather changes never cost you anything. Los Angeles has more than 300 flyable days a year, so the wait is rarely long.
Rescheduling
- Free, any number of times, up to 24 hours before your flight. Call or text (818) 330-1318.
- Inside 24 hours, a $50 rescheduling fee applies, because the airplane and instructor were held for you.
Cancellations and refunds
- Cancel 24 hours or more before your flight for a full refund or credit.
- Cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are charged in full.
- Arriving more than 30 minutes late is treated as a no-show; please plan for Valley traffic.
Gift cards
Gift cards have no blackout dates and are valid for five years from purchase. They are transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Requirements we can't waive
- Weight limits: 180 lb per person (360 lb combined) in the Piper Warrior, 200 lb per person (400 lb combined) in the Cirrus SR22. These are the airplanes' limits, not ours. If you arrive over the limit for your booked aircraft we'll move you to the Cirrus (price difference applies) or the simulator.
- A government photo ID for the person flying; a parent or guardian signature for anyone under 18.
- No alcohol within eight hours of the flight.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel for maintenance, an instructor illness or an airport closure, you get first choice of a new slot or a full refund.
